A clothing swap occurs when each girl dumps the contents of a bag into a pile in the middle of the room. Then the sorting begins. It’s helpful if the girls know each other beforehand so that they can approximate which items will fit their friends based on body type and personal style.
It’s also useful to do this activity with a group that has likeminded taste, although one could argue that it’s better to meet with people who share different sensibilities. That mixes it up a bit and keeps your wardrobe from growing stagnant.
In this case, I came away with a plaid wool mini skirt, a grey hooded jacket, a silk bolero top and a brown leather vest. Not to be worn at the same time, of course.
